TOOLS MANAGER is a complete system for the operational management of the tools being processed. For each production order, TOOLS MANAGER checks tool availability on all interconnected machines and compares it with the tools necessary for production and defined by the machining program.
By taking into account also the time of contact of each tool on the workpiece (tool life management), TOOLS MANAGER defines the number of tools to be loaded on the machine. This function is guaranteed by the creation of «tool loading lists» and «tool unloading lists» and their sending to the connected machines.
TOOLS MANAGER PRESETTING option allows you to receive tool setting data from a tool presetting station, on which tools have been measured, and send them to the machine in combination with the «loading list». The application allows you also to refresh tool data coming from machines, so that they are always updated for subsequent use.
The deposit of unused tools is efficiently managed through a tool magazine mapping. The system can interface also with automatic deposit magazines.
TOOLS MANAGER perfectly integrates with JOB MANAGER application, which manages production orders and the relevant machining phases.
